DHK's ARC15™ ArcPlus™ shirts are manufactured with a single layer of the lightest weight, highest arc protection, inherently flame resistant fabric in the market. A left-front pocket with a buttoned down flap and a penholder is astandard feature. The buttons of the button down collar are large to reduce breakage and improve ease of buttoning. Buttons are sewn on using a diagonal stitch and all seams are safety stitched for strength and durability, accented with double needle top stitch. All components including buttons, labels, Nomex® threads, and Nomex® inter-liners are flame resistant.

Use : DHK’s ARC15™ ArcPlus™ shirts are designed to provide protection from arc flash heat exposures. According to NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category (HRC) levels, this garment significantly exceeds the Hazard Risk Category 2 required minimum arc protection of 8 cal/cm². Be aware that the arc rating (ATPV) of a fabric, as defined in ASTM F1959-04, indicates a 50% probability of a second-degree burn based on the Stoll curve. Consult the ARC15™ label or the Oberon Burn Injury Reduction Guide (BIRG™) for reduced probability of a burn injury + . Always perform a hazard analysis and use higher protection than the hazard you are facing.
Cleaning Instructions & Maintenance : All garments should be free of contaminants. Flammable contaminants can reduce protection level. Garments can be machine washed with detergent and tumble-dried. Oberon’s inherently flame resistant garments will not lose the flame resistant properties of the fabrics due to laundering of the garment.
