Use
: DHK’s ARC4™ ArcPlus™ shirts are designed
to provide protection from arc flash heat exposures. According
to NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category (HRC) levels, this garment
provides the 4 cal/cm² minimum rating required by
Hazard Risk Category 1. Be aware that the arc rating (ATPV)
of a fabric, as defined in ASTM F1959-04, indicates a
50% probability of a second-degree burn based on the Stoll
curve. Consult Oberon’s ARC4™ clothing labels
or BIRG™ (Burn Injury Reduction Guide SM ) for reduced
probability of a burn injury. Always perform a hazard
analysis and use higher protection than the hazard you
are facing. |
Cleaning
Instructions & Maintenance : All garments
should be free of contaminants.
Flammable contaminants can reduce protection level. Garments
can be machine washed with detergent and tumble-dried.
Oberon’s inherently flame resistant garments will
not lose the flame resistant properties of the fabrics
due to laundering of the garment. |
