Materials, Design & Other Characteristics :

DHK's ARC13™ ArcPlus™ sweatshirts are manufactured with a single layer of a tubular knit inherently flame resistant fabric. Basic construction with three-thread overlock for strength and durability. Front pouch with two connected openings on the sides. Cuffs and waist stretch for a better fit. All components including labels, string and threads
are flame resistant.

Arc Rating: 13.5 cal/cm² Ebt
 
Color: Navy Blue
 
Fabric: 8 oz/yd², knit fleece
 
Fiber Content: 50% aramid and 50% FR Viscose Rayon.
 
Sizes: Standard sizing is S, M, L, XL, 2XL & 3XL. Sizes 4XL & 5XL available for special orders.
 
Standards: Complies with NFPA 70E-2004 & ASTM F1506-02a.

Tested according to ASTM F1959-04.
 
Use : DHK’s ARC13™ ArcPlus™ sweatshirts are designed to provide protection from arc flash heat exposures. According to NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category (HRC) levels, this garment exceeds the 8 cal/cm² minimum rating required by Hazard Risk Category 2. When used with Oberon’s ArcShield™, would provide 12 cal/cm 2 of upper body and head protection. Be aware that the arc rating (ATPV) of a fabric and/or faceshield, as defined in ASTM F1959-04, indicates a 50% probability of a second-degree burn based on the Stoll curve. Consult the ARC13™ clothing labels or BIRG™ (Burn Injury Reduction Guide SM ) for reduced probability of a burn injury. Always perform a hazard analysis and use higher protection than the hazard you are facing.
Cleaning Instructions & Maintenance:
All garments should be free of contaminants.Flammable contaminants can reduce protection level. Garments can be machine washed with detergent and tumble-dried. Oberon’s inherently flame resistant garments will not lose the flame resistant properties of the fabrics due to laundering of the garment.
